Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur was established in June 1960 under the scheme sponsored by Government of India. Ever since its inception the institute contributed significantly to provide quality education for its students. As per a survey the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur was amongst the top 15 institutes in the country producing human resource capable of coping with the accelerating pace of technological developments at international level. The institute provides world class infrastructure facilities spread across 214 acres near Ambazari Dam. VNIIT offers both undergraduate & post graduate courses it also offers Phd programmes as well.
