JEE (Advanced) 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing for JEE Advanced 2023 must satisfy all the five criteria given below:
1. Performance in JEE Main 2023: The applicant must be among the top 2, 00,000 including all categories by scoring positive marks in JEE Main 2023 Paper I.

2. Age Criteria: Applicant must have been born on or after October 1, 1991. There will be a relaxation of five years for students belonging to SC, ST and PwD category.
3. Attempts: An aspirant can appear for JEE Advanced two times in consecutive years. Hence, students who appeared for JEE Advanced 2016 for the first time can appear for JEE Advanced 2023 also.
4. Appearance in 10+2 examination: Applicant should have appeared for Class 12th exam for the first time in 2016 or 2023. Those appeared for 12th exams in 2014 or earlier are not eligible for JEE Advanced 2023. However, students whose 10+2 results were declared after June 2015 are eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2023.
5. Earlier admission at IITs or ISM: Candidate should not have been admitted or accepted any IIT or ISM seat by reporting at a reporting centre in the past. Applicants whose admission at IITs or ISM was cancelled are also not eligible.
Also, candidates are allowed to appear for JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years. Therefore, candidates who appeared in JEE (Advanced) 2016 for the first time are also eligible for 2023 application.
