SNAP 2023 Overview

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, commonly known as SNAP is a common management entrance test conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) every year. Score of SNAP entrance test is used for taking admission to post graduate management courses offered by 15 Institutes affiliated to Symbiosis University. SNAP 2023 is scheduled to be held on December 17, 2023. This year, Symbiosis University has decided to change the mode of Symbiosis MBA entrance test 2023. SNAP 2023 exam will be conducted in online mode across 102 cities. Other than this, no change has been made to the test pattern of SNAP exam. A total of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs) will be asked in the exam. The candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the SNAP online test 2023. Candidates must try to score evenly in all the 4 sections of the exam in order to clear the cutoff and get shortlisted for the further selection rounds. SNAP selection process will comprise of Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT) rounds.

The notification for conduct of SNAP 2023 was released on August 9 which was followed by the commencement of online registration from August 10, 2023. The SNAP application form 2023 is available online on the official website, www.snaptest.org. SNAP 2023 aspirants can apply for the SNAP Online Test 2023 before the due date, November 24, 2023. The registration fee of SNAP exam 2023 is Rs. 1750 for all the categories of candidates.

The SNAP exam and Institute registration has simplified this year by providing a common platform and portal for these both. Candidates who complete their SNAP 2023 payment process by October 31, 2023 will be intimated their allotted test city via e-mail on or before November 06, 2023. This will enable candidates to plan their travel schedules accordingly. However, the candidates who will pay the SNAP 2023 fee from November 01 till November 24, 2023 will get to know their allotted SNAP 2023 test city on the date of SNAP admit card 2023 generation.

SNAP 2023 aspirants must check the eligibility norms of SNAP exam before applying for it. It is important for them to meet the eligibility criteria else they may get disqualified at later stages of shortlisting and selection. The gist of SNAP 2023 eligibility criteria is as follow - 

Applicant should have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) from a recognised university for MBA programmes.

A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any program of SIU.

To apply for SNAP exam 2023, the candidates will have to visit the official website of SNAP 2023, www.snaptest.org as the registration procss is completely online. Also, the interested applicants must check the eligibility criteria of Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP Exam) before starting with the application form filling. 

SNAP 2023 applicants must arrange for the following prerequisites for filling the SNAP application form 2023 - 

1.      Valid Email ID & Mobile Number.

2.      Scanned passport size photograph. Format of file should be .jpg .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif and filw size should be between 10 to 100 kb.

3.      Arrange for the payment of SNAP registration fee. 

SNAP 2023 Application Process

Visit the SNAP 2023 official website or access the link given here on this page. 

Fill in the SNAP 2023 registration form to procure a SNAP 2023 email id and password. Using these login credentials, login as existing user and start filling the SNAP application form.

Fill valid and correct information in the form as required and upload the latest coloured passport size photo.

Thereafter, pay the application fee of Rs. 1750 using the available payment modes.

With the payment of application fee, the SNAP 2023 application process will conclude.

Step by Step SNAP 2023 Application Procedure

Application fees detail

SNAP 2023 exam registration fee is Rs. 1750 for all categories of candidates. However, the candidates interested in paying the fee through Demand Draft (DD) will have to pay Rs. 2065 (this include Rs.1750 as SNAP Test fee and Rs. 315/- as GST @18%). Also, such candidates will be required to choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at the address mentioned below. 

This fee can be paid through any of the 4 modes as stated below -

i) Online - Internet Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Prepaid Card/Mobile Wallet

ii) Axis Bank Gateway

iii) Indian Bank Gateway

iv) Demand Draft - It must be made from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune

SNAP 2023 Counselling/Interview

After qualifying SNAP 2023 test, candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT) which will be based on the SNAP Test Score and Academic Profile Score of the candidates. Aspirant’s Academic Profile Score will be calculated on the basis of his/her performance in 10th, 12th, and graduation level.

SNAP 2023 Exam Syllabus

Symbiosis University does not provides the syllabus of SNAP entrance exam. However, the experts and students can devise the SNAP 2023 syllabus for effective preparation of the exam based on the topics which hhave been asked in the exam in previous years. The students preparing for the SNAP 2023 exam must prepare for the exam as per its syllabus to avoid preparing not so important topics. 

SNAP 2023 question paper will have objective type questions, which will be asked from 4 sections. The sylabus of these 4 sections is as follow - 

General English wich will include Antonyms, Sentence completion, Verbal Reasoning, Sentence correction, Syllogisms and Odd one out, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, and Verbal Ability

Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency - Arithmetic mean, Geometric mean, Number Base System, Venn diagram, Permutations & Combination, Time-Speed-Distance, HCF & LCM, Geometric Progression

Current Affairs (last two years)

Analytical & Logical Reasoning - Identifying valid inferences, Assumption-Premise-Conclusion, Assertion and reasons, Line charts, Syllogisms, Identifying next number in series, Statements and assumption, Visual reasoning, Interpretation based on text, graphs, and tables, column graphs and Bar Graphs etc.

While filling the SNAP application form 2023, the candidates will be required to fill a SNAP 2023 exam city in it, from where they would like to appear for the exam.
