Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology is inviting applications for M.Sc admission 2022.
Admissions to M. Sc. Programmes in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for the year 2022 will be offered through Centralized Counselling (CCMN- 2022) based on IIT-JAM 2022 Score.
Candidates with valid JAM 2022 score are invited to apply for admission into M.Sc. and M.Sc. (Tech.) programme at 15 National Institute of Technologies and two Centrally Funded Technical Institutes.
The JAM qualified candidates can get themselves registered from April 18, 2022 by logging into VNIT website.
However, apart from JAM 2022 score card, candidates require to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria define below:
- Candidates must have 60% or 6.5 CGPA (GEN/OBC) and 55% or 6.0 CGPA (SC/ST/PH) as aggregate marks.
- The candidates from Institutes with Honours system of evaluation must have obtained 60% or 6.5 CGPA (GEN/OBC) and 55% or 6.0 CGPA (SC/ST/PH) in Honours.
- The candidate who doesn’t meet the above criteria can apply in ISA in ISA participating institute. Candidates, whose results are not out, may be accepted provisionally and needs to produce the results by September 30, 2022
- Candidates whose result is awaited are also eligible, provided they will have to produce the result by September 30, 2022. To see in detail click here.

- Valid JAM score (only qualified) card
- Date of birth certificate or 10th class mark sheet/certificate)
- 12th class mark sheet showing the availability of Mathematics subject
- Qualifying degree certificate
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC with NCL), wherever applicable
- PWD certificate, wherever applicable
- Photograph
- Signature
