The Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) is one of the best colleges in the state of Odisha. The college was established in the year 2009 with the aim to provide quality education. The college has enormously contributed to the development of state & the nation for last 50 glorious years. The college provides world class infrastructure facilities with all the ultra modern equipment. The college offers both Bachelor's & master's degree programme and also provides Ph.D. programmes too. The vision & mission of the college is to be emerging as an internationally acclaimed Technical University to impart futuristic technical education and the creation of vibrant research enterprise to create quality engineers and researchers, truly world class leader and unleashes technological innovations to serve the global society and improve the quality of life.

Placement

Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology has an active placement cell which helps students to find suitable jobs. VSSUT placement committee is known as "Joint Coordination Committee (JCC). 

Infrastructures

The institute's infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities.

Classroom

The classrooms/ lecture halls in the college are fully furnished.

Laboratory

The college has a state-of-art computer laboratory equipped with 60 P-IV nodes on LAN system with free internet access through 512 Kbps broadband facility.

Library

The college has a well equipped and well stocked library. The college has Library cum reading room, well equipped with periodicals, text books, study material, major dailies and popular magazines for both students and faculty.

Our University, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology is basically a technical University, even though we have other courses too such as M.Sc., integrated M.Sc., Integrated M.C.A., Bachelor of Architecture(B.Arch), which is a course of five years.

This is a good government college for perusing B.Tech

Resources provided to the students are quite better. Being an autonomous college, the grading system is better than rest of the government colleges in Odisha. Facilities are very good and the faculty is always helpful. The college is in a remote area which limits with organizing for placements with many major companies.

A Tier-3 State Government University

The university has a long way to go to become an IIEST, the inadequacy in the number of classrooms and the lack of facilities such as an ambulance for the students are glaring inadequacies but the college curriculum is the one of the best in the state, new lab equipments are being procured. The university has started encouraging the start-up culture. The newly built E-Learning Center is a welcome addition to the infrastructure. Speaking of hostels, the two new hostels are under construction, one boys' and another girls'. The older boys' hostels are very old, built back in the 60s, they are sub-standard, and are to undergo renovation. The university campus is not Wi-Fi enabled. The university has a good gymnasium and an auditorium but both of them are not air-conditioned.

It is one of the best universities in India. It provides the best grade for technical studies and a higher level of research facility for the students. The faculty members of the college are very dedicated and highly qualified.
