| Dual Degree in B.TECH+MBA(5 YEARS) | - | The candidates seeking admission in this course must have qualified 10+2 Non-medical with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST & disabled persons categories) marks. If total of obtained marks is not mentioned on the DMC of a candidate then a combination of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and a subject having greater marks out of other subjects (Punjabi, Hindi, Computer Science, Physical Education, Environmental Education etc.) will be consider to calculate the minimum 60% marks criteria for eligibility check. The merit list of students for the purpose of admission will be drawn based on marks obtained by candidates in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. |

Placement
The university has a centralized placement cell which works towards placing the students of the university, thus giving them a launch pad to start their careers. The placement cell engages in career counseling activities for the students. It also works toward enriching the knowledge of the students by organizing seminars and workshops on the latest in their respective fields. The cell acts as a bridge between the students and the industry. It also advices on restructuring of curriculum on the basis of inputs gathered from the alumni and the industry.
Infrastructures
UCoE covers 14 acres of land in the University Campus for the development of the instructional zone, research centers, PC and informatics focus, library, workshops, authoritative workplaces, lodgings, one each for the young men and young ladies with a limit of 400 each, a swimming pool and scenes with an estimated cost of Rs. 25 Crores: Total building territory in this stage would be more than 32,000 square. meters. The University arrangements to prepare around 20 labs and workshops with the present day and most recent hardware and give all other current courtesies and showing help in its scholarly region, for example, library, informatics focus, classrooms, course rooms and so forth and in both the lodgings.

The classrooms/ lecture halls in the college are fully furnished.
Laboratory
The college has a state-of-art computer laboratory equipped with 60 P-IV nodes on LAN system with free internet access through 512 Kbps broadband facility.
