Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is offering a post-graduate diploma in Social Work, grew into a Deemed University and, as a result, diversified its activities. The college offers Master,Bachelor of Arts,Doctor of philosophy(Ph.d). It subscribes to over 200 scholarly journals and has over 1,600 audio-visual materials. It maintains newspaper clippings on current topics and prepares bibliographies on different subjects. They made us busy but I got new friends

I like the campus so much. It's so green here. But I hate the hectic schedule and especially the foundation course classes. But all the people here, including teachers, students, staff, etc all are so nice, friendly & helpful. I love the cyber library.

For the love of living experiences : TISS Tuljapur

The tuljapur off campus of TISS is one of the most beautiful academic campus you'll come across. And once you spend some time in tuljapur, no other place will be good enough. Faculty is average with some really nice professors and some not so great ones. What makes the place special are the people and the interactions. Almost every state is represented in the campus. There is multiplicity of culture, language and ideas making the place extremely conducive to live an experience. Infrastructure has improved considerably and students don't complain about that. The only issue is that the place is cut off from major cities by at least an hour which decreases opportunities for students to participate in fests, competitions etc.

Better opportunity in India

Study at TISS, with master of health administration gives a better opportunity than any other institution in India. TISS is a very reputed and an old institution, which provide many types of social work and management course as well as in health administration. This course's fees is approximately 1 L rather than 8-10 L, which is comparatively lower than other institutions offering the same course. Placement record is also good, approximately 5-6 L per year. But it mainly depends on students talent and capability.

TISS is the one of the best places to pursue your masters. The best part of TISS is its diversity and still there is peace and harmony. People from different parts of the country and the world come here which leads to exchange of ideas and thoughts which ultimately helps people to grow into better humans. The lessons which are being taught here will help me through out the entire life. Everyone is treated equally. TISS believes in making this world a better place to live and we do work for that. Overall the experience is awsome and I learnt alot of things which have made me a better person. TISS is like a family and all the members are contributing to make the society into a better society.
