SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce is affiliated to university of Mumbai. Infrastructures

SIES College of Arts, Science & Commerce provides well facilities like canteen, bank ATM ,well constructed classrooms, Hi-TECH computer lab, Audio Visual Room is equipped with an LCD and AC

Classroom

All classrooms are well furnished. The Audio Visual room and Multimedia Room are used by different departments, for holding seminars, workshops, film screenings, association activities and meetings.

Laboratory

All labs are well equipped. Every department in the Science stream & Psychology department from Arts stream have well equipped laboratory. Safety measures are displayed and aprons are compulsory for entry into the Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Zoology and Botany laboratories. Most of the science departments have locker facilities for keeping the necessary apparatus.

Library

Central library is available. he main Library serves the academic needs of the entire college and it is computerized. The Library has separate cubicles for research, and reference (for students and staff)

Awesome college

I have been in this college for 3 years. I have enjoyed very part of this college. I have loved the life her. The teachers and Staff are very helpful. They share a special bond with me. They are understanding and helper. The extracurricular activities help you to discover yourself.

Best College in Navi Mumbai in terms of Education and Placement

I'll simply divide my review in terms of pros and cons so that it is easy for you to make the right choice. My reviews are student oriented. Pros: 1. You will have one of the best faculty to teach you the subjects. 2. Crowd is good. 3. Labs are well equipped. 4. Library is well stocked. 5. Each Department has their departmental fest. 6. Guest lecturers are there. 7. Student friendly office staffs. 8. Lots of committees to be a part of and explore your talents. Cons: 1. Canteen is decent. 2. South Indian students are there on a majority 3. Lacks in backup of faculty members 4. Attendance is very strictly monitored. :p 5. Campus is not very big. Therefore there is no dedicated ground to play, however there is a basketball court.

SIES College of Arts Science and Commerce

SIES College of Arts Science and Commerce is situated at Sion West in the Jain Society. The crowd of the students here is majorly South Indian. The teaching staff is well versed in their subjects and have vast knowledge in their specialties. Though the campus is space restricted, separate rooms for separate departments are allocated. Graded 3.51 on 4 by the NAAC, the college keeps up with its reputation and makes sure that cultural activities don't interfere with academics. The only drawback is the campus, for the space constraint happens to be a huge turn-off. The canteen serves decent food and is reasonably priced. The college also has a Nescafe outlet inside the premises.

Excellent faculty and good activities

The college has good academics. The teaching staff is very knowledgeable and cooperative. Many good seminars and workshops are held, for example I have attended a 3 day workshop on Psychology and another on Shri Krisha literature, and both were filled with great information and excellent speakers. The location is unique and the facilities which are available are good enough to satisfy our minds. Activities like the fresh face contest are very good and innovative. Good placements and remuneration are not just based on academics but also on one's skills and potential. The professors teach by understanding class environment.

Professors and their teaching are important in any college. SIES got good professors and do see to it that you perform well and give you all the help needed. Supportive and you will be guided in their light. College there is fun, decent crowd and IV's are amazing.
