It is always an honour for second year students of the BAF (B.Com Accounting & Finance) department of SIES (NERUL) College of Arts, Science & Commerce to host its departmental festival "Epoch".
Conducted on January 6, 2022 this year the inter-departmental fest of SIES started from morning onward and went on till evening where all the students from various other departments too participated.
This year the fest showcased events such as fashion show, beat boxing, and various other games. The fest was organised by the second year students of the department, just like every year. The first year students helped them, which also gave them an insight on how to organize fests. The third year students, who are having their last year, rejoiced looking at their juniors carry off their legacy forward.
The fest ended with a DJ event where the students danced to their best and enjoyed utmost.
Epoch, the previous Year:
Comes up with different theme every year, a twist had been given last year as college hosted some activities to serve the weaker section of the society which is worth praising.
Towards the same, Ration Drive and Clothes Donation drive were initiated. For a period of 10 days, donation counter was kept open. Students and teachers from all over the college contributed generously for this noble cause. At last, those items were packed in cartons and given to an NGO ‘KOSHISH’ in Chembur.
Driven by the theme ‘Mumbai meri Jaan’, where models made by the creative teams. There were many other games like Jewel Thief, Selfie Station, Monopoly, Lagori, Dodge Ball which attracted a good number of students from all courses.
Like the previous years, it was made sure this timme too that all the games had the main essence of the BAF department, accounting or finance.
Students thoroughly enjoyed the fest. It was a great learning experience. Stay tuned for more updates!
