Placement
The College ensures that students are able to explore possible career options in reputed organizations even before completing their graduation. For this purpose the college organises counselling sessions, seminars, and workshops. In the last two years, since this cell has been constituted, the students of Shivaji College have found placement in reputed companies.

The college’s infrastructure is modern with all well equipped facilities.
Laboratory
The college has modern, well-equipped and efficiently managed laboratories for all science courses offered such as Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany. There are two Computer labs as well that are accessible to students and teachers for internet connectivity.
Library
The College library has at present over 91843 volumes. In addition to a substantial number of books on each subject taught in the college, there is a good collection of reference books, encyclopaedia, dictionaries, bibliographies and books of general interest.
