Shivaji College is a constituent college under the umbrella of University of Delhi and is run under the trusteeship of Delhi Administration. It is a co-educational institution and imparts instructions in various subjects at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
The college offers various undergraduate as well as post graduate courses and Honors programme in Arts, commerce and science stream. The College has introduced Bachelor of Business Economics (B.B.E.) course at undergraduate levels. Apart from conventional courses, the Department of Economics of the college also offers Vocational course in Foreign Trade Practices & Procedure.
