Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) is the foremost institute of University of Delhi, providing education in the fields of management education. The college was established in the year 1987 by the Delhi Administration on the initiation of UGC and the Ministry of Human Resources. SSCBS was the first undergraduate college comes under the guidance of the University of Delhi (DU). The college believes that providing quality education is about supportive faculty, talented students and a learning environment. The programme and curriculum is designed by qualified faculty according to the business industry. The objective of the college is to provide favourable atmosphere and necessary education with moral values for the future business leaders. The college strongly accentuate on developing personality, interpersonal skills and inculcate the right values system. The vision of the college is to creating new frontiers of knowledge and standards of achievement to mould committed, responsible, ethical and active managers out of students.

Library
The college library is fully computerized. The air-conditioned environment of the library ensures that students enjoy reading up the latest journals and the business newspapers with relative ease. The library has added 650 new titles to its collection. The total number of books in the library is 14,730. In addition, the college subscribes to 48 national and international journals and magazines and 12 national and business newspapers.
