Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024School of Engineering & Technology (SET), Ansal University shapes designer, innovator and techie for constructing & maintaining various machines & products. SET is not just educating students but it makes each individual socially responsible and academically stronger in their respective domain. The emphasis of the college is to impart virtual based training with an amalgamation of theoretical and practical knowledge. A special emphasis is laid on hands-on experience in the in house laboratories and floor shops in the industrial units. All the engineering programmes of SET are designed in a manner, which gives student latest and futuristic knowledge in their respective fields. The aim of the college is to make each student competent in using scientific knowledge, designing machines and discovering new products.

| Master of Technology (Mechanical Engineering) | - | Students are required to secure minimum 60% or equivalent in B.Tech./ B.E. in Tool Engineering/ Mechanical/ Mechanical and Automation / Production/ Production and Industrial /Automobile Engineering or any other equivalent stream. Or Graduates with AMIE (ME) degree are also eligible to apply. Along with a Bachelor’s degree, students must qualify GATE Computer Science and Information Technology with valid scores. OR Students with 2 years of experience in the relevant field can also apply for M.Tech. OR Applicants who don’t have GATE score card or 2 years’ industrial experience need to appear for a written test and interview in order to be eligible for M.Tech program, provided that they must satisfy these criteria mentioned below: 65% Weightage to Qualifying exam at UG level 20% Weightage to the Written Test 15% Weightage to PI. |

Placement
SET, Ansal has built an extensive network with the industry and a large Placement Division to assist students with their traineeship and final placements. The Cell regularly organizes seminars, pre placement talks, student-industry interactions and campus interviews. The students are also provided individual counseling for better career planning.
Infrastructures
SET has a wide range of facilities and resources which support students throughout their academic career at the College. They are designed to meet the requirements of the academic and professional programmes. These are reviewed and maintained regularly in order to ensure that students have full access to all the facilities.
Classroom
SET, Ansal University provides well furnished and trendy classrooms. All classrooms provides a special learning environment, a touch screen white board is integrated with the LCD projector and a computer.
Laboratory
The laboratories of the college impart practical knowledge and provide hands on training to students in their respective domain. The laboratories assist students in their researches and projects and facilitate students in their learning. College has separate labs for each department, which are well kit out with latest apparatus and machines.
