National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) is one of the top business schools in India, located in Powai near Vihar Lake in Mumbai, India. NITIE is dedicated to help Indian businesses to make their presence felt globally. Placement

The college offers placement support for all its students with many reputed companies. This includes both summer internships and final year placements.

Infrastructures

The college is well furnished with modern amenities. It has an auditorium which is air conditioned and seats up to 200 people.

Classroom

NITIE houses an acoustically designed, fully air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 200. The auditorium is used for regular lectures, research and scholarly presentations, extramural lectures, industry events, and other academic and community activities. It is used daily for screening management films, tapes and CD/DVDs for Management Development Programmes. Laboratory

Institute is equipped with state-of-art computing facilities to compliment classroom pedagogy. In its various laboratories NITIE has about 250 Pentium IV workstations running on Windows 2003, Windows XP Pro, Linux and SCO Unix.

Library

The Institute Library holds one of the richest collection in books journals and online databases in the field of Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Organizational Behaviour, Financial Management, Training & Information Technology. It has an excellent collection of reference books, like Subject, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Handbooks and Workbooks.

Excellent Campus, stellar placements and a very good learning opportunity

Located amidst two natural water bodies, Powai Lake and the Vihar Lake, in the heart of Mother Nature, NITIE is aptly known as 'God's Own Campus'. NITIE is the only MBA college which admits only engineers for the 2 year full-time PGDIM (Post Graduation Diploma in Industrial Management) and PDGISEM (Post Graduation Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environment Management) programs. A major advantage that NITIE offers is the ROI factor, the program fees is almost half of what the other premier B-Schools charge. When it comes to placements, NITIE is highly reputed in the Industry, thereby, the average salary is increasing rapidly year after year. The college infrastructure is really impressive, the new Academic cum Library Building boasts of technologically advanced infrastructure which facilitates the learning process. The campus has good sporting facilities as well, which includes a Lawn Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Cricket and Football fields and Badminton court. The overall campus life is very positive, a student can easily keep a balance of academics and extra-curricular.
