Manav Rachna International University, Faculty of Media Studies is a part of Manav Rachna International University (MRIU), a deemed-to-be university under section 3 of UGC Act. FMeS consists of two broad streams: Journalism & Mass Communication (TV, Radio, Print) and Media Management (Advertising, Public Relations, Media Economics, Media Business).

Infrastructures

The college is well equipped with all modern facilities.

Classroom

Each classroom has been provided with TV Set, LCD & Audio System. FMeS has already acquired state of the art equipment (camera, edit bay, teleprompter, etc.) and is in the process of setting up a well-equipped broadcast studio in the current academic session.

Laboratory

The FMeS computer lab has 60 computers and has all the required software for print production. The students bring out their TV & Radio programmes along with lab newspapers and magazines on their own.

Library

MRIU has a well stocked library with over 38000 Text books and 11000 Reference books. The University subscribes to a plethora of journals – both National and International . It also has a number of e-resources in the form of CDs and DVDs. The University also subscribes to on-line journals . Besides all faculties have separate faculty libraries to cater to special needs of students for the courses being run by them.

Well, it is good enough. Depends on what you want out of it!

The faculty is honestly good. Teachers are quite friendly and understanding, most of the times. However, few of the things they do, do get on your nerves sometimes, like calling you and forcing you to attend seminars that aren't all that useful, calling your parents when you cut classes (yes, seriously). Overall, one would find the lectures enjoyable. The campus is a plus point. It's beautiful. There are a lot of places to hang out. There are about 5 canteens. The university is quite active in organising events. The fest, Resurrection, is truly great and enjoyable. There were various societies that a student can be a part of. Everyone fits in. Also, they have their own radio station inside the campus, if that interests you. The university is expensive though. They certainly aren't easy on your pockets.

This is why people says 'No knowledge without college'

I have learned many things in my college life such as how to communicate well in different situations. This is what I like the most about my course and college. It improves my communication skills. However, I am a sports lover and I like to play the different type of sports. Hence, in that scenario I love my college because we have all types of facilities for every sport and that helped me to learn different sports like table tennis, badminton, squash.

MRIU, A hub of knowledge and best in class education

One of the best private universities in terms of knowledge, teaching patterns and infrastructure. A place where you will get not only written but a lot of practical knowledge through various workshops. I went through a life changing process in the 3 years I spend here. Provided with all types of notes and study material. Personal attention is given to all students.Very comfortable classrooms and amazing canteens. It has been given 'A' grade by NAAC. Proud to be a part of MRIU. However, more attention towards maintaining discipline among students is required.

My Experience In MRIU has been memorable.

When I was in school, I always used to dream of college life and campus & when I got admission in MRIU, it just fulfilled my expectations. The campus was so beautiful and the location of the college was so amazing also, MRIU is well connected to whole NCR. The hills and the greenery around the college add charm to it. The infrastructure of the college is great. On the other hand, the faculty is so generous and supportive. If there is someone who has some talent or other skills then the faculty is always there to guide and take you further. At MRIU, you will see a completely new world. For me, it was an experience, which is unforgettable.
