Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry (JIPMER) is situated in the outskirt of Pondicherry. The campus of the institute is beautifully surrounded by the lush green environment and well kit out with amenities like canteen, bank etc. Institute has well architect edifice, which comprises trendy lecture halls, labs for various experiments & research. The aim of the amenities is to make learning conducive for the learners and enhance their talent in their respective domain.

Classroom

Institute has spacious & air conditioned classrooms, which are well equipped with modern facilities, such as audio systems, Overhead Projects, LCD projectors, DVD players and television sets. The seating contours are specially designed for comfort, which is necessary for concentrated study. They are designed to provide students with complete comfort for the intense hours of classrooms teaching and interaction. 

Laboratory

Institute has air conditioned separate laboratories for every domain. The laboratories of the institute are well kit out with necessary amenities and assist students in their research related to medical. The laboratories of the institute is fully fit out with apparatus like Folin-Wu tube for blood glucose, Disposable gloves, Microscope, A glass flask, Colorimeter etc.

Library

In existing time the library of the JIPMER is set in an air conditioned building & continuously imparting its services since January 12, 1973. The library of the Institute is well kit out with medical books, e-journals, periodicals. In non paper collection Institute library imparts CD’s and DVD’S of various medical domain programmes, which gives students practical knowledge in understanding their programme.
