Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D) was created as a State University by an act of Delhi Government empowering it to do research and development and grant degrees. The mission of IIIT-Delhi is to be a global centre of excellence in Information Technology education, training and research. It aims to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship in specified domain areas of IT. The institute offers Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology, Master of Technology in Computer Science, Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science.

IIIT Delhi is the place you want to be if you want to actually learn something in your 4 years

I have been to many colleges including IIT Bombay, BITs Pilani, DTU and NSIT and I can tell you the Faculty and curriculum of IIIT Delhi are much better than most of the top colleges in India. It is new relatively so it will take time for it to build its brand Name but sooner or later it is going to be one of the top Engineering colleges in India. The average B.Tech package here is 12 lacks per annum which can only be beaten by IIIT Hyderabad currently. If you have interest in CS/ECE just blindly choose this institution. It has top notch faculty,curriculum,coding culture,facilities,etc. It is one of the only colleges offering inter disciplinary courses too. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc hire from here every year.

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Review

Perfect location. Good surrounding. Easy access to public transport. Modern amenities. Faculties are knowledgeable and helpful. They are helpful and supportive. They guide the students in the best way. Regular assignments and projects are provided to the students to complete and submit. Most of them are PhD holders. Placement records are good. Extracurricular activities are encouraged.

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Review

IIITD probably is one of the best colleges in Delhi-NCR for IT and CS. Faculty is well experienced and trained. The courses are Industry oriented and unlike other colleges many courses at undergraduate level are research based. However, the college lacks in providing a vibrant college life to students. Opportunities for extracurricular activities are not enough. And the college fails to do justice to overall development of students.
