Faculty of Science, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda : Fees, Admission Procedure 2025, Entrance Exam Accepted & Placements

A minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate at B. Sc. (General or Honours) or equivalent degree from a university endorsed by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. The student must have studied relevant subject at B. Sc. For subjects like Biochemistry, Microbiology, PGD Applied Biochemistry and Medical Biotechnology; students with B. Sc. Degree in any of the life science subjects or chemical science subject are eligible. For Biostatistics, students with B. Sc. in Biological, Chemical or Mathematical sciences are eligible.

• Candidate must have passed B.Sc. Examination (in 10+2+3 pattern) or equivalent examination as a Regular Candidate. (Private candidates or degrees obtained through correspondence are not considered eligible).
• A candidate who has passed an equivalent examination from any other examining body will have to produce eligibility certificate from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (which can be obtained from the University Office. Opp. Food and Drugs Laboratory, Vadodara).
• The minimum eligibility criterion for a candidate who obtained Bachelor's degree from a University other than the M. S. University is 50% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate at the qualifying exam.

• Candidate must have passed B.Sc. Examination (in 10+2+3 pattern) or equivalent examination in appropriate branch as a Regular Candidate. (Private candidates or degrees obtained through correspondence are not considered eligible).
• A candidate who has passed an equivalent examination from any other examining body will have to produce eligibility certificate from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (which can be obtained from the University Office. Opp. Food and Drugs Laboratory, Vadodara).
• The minimum eligibility criterion for a candidate who obtained Bachelor's degree from a University other than the M. S. University is 50% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate at the qualifying exam.

• A candidate who has passed an equivalent examination from any other examining body will have to produce eligibility certificate from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (which can be obtained from the University Office, Opp. Drugs Laboratory, Vadodara).

A candidate should have passed the qualifying examination with from the Gujarat Higher Secondary Examination Board(GHSEB) or the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC), National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or an equivalent board.

• Candidates must have passed Gujarat H.S.C./CBSE/ICSE Examination (10+2) or equivalent examination from the Science stream with English as one of the subjects during the years 2014, 2015 and 2016.
• A candidate who has passed an equivalent examination from any other examining body will have to obtain eligibility certificate from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (University Office, Opp. Food and Drugs Laboratory) along with admission in the first year.
