Application form for Enrollment to Ph.D. Course Work

The application form for enrollment to Ph.D. Course by Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, Gujarat has been released. Students can click on the PDF file given at the bottom of the content to view the application form. 

Candidates should note that the last date for submitting application forms is June 3, 2015.

Some guidelines issued by the Head of Department:

• The candidates who have registered for Ph.D. are required to apply for enrolment to Ph.D. course.
• The candidate having M.Phil. Degree is exempted from Ph.D. Course work.
• The candidate should submit the filled application form at Faculty of Education and Psychology office on or before the prescribed date during 12:00 noon to 2:00p.m.
• The course work will commence on 08th June , 2015 at 10.00a.m. in B.C.A. Building, Faculty of Science.
• Modalities of course I & III will be declared subsequently.
• Eighty percentage attendance is compulsory. Each course is of three credits (forty five hours) course II is of 67 hours.
• Fee towards the registration for the course I,II,III (9 credits) is Rs. 2500/-.
• 45 Student will be admitted to course  II,  If more applicants are there authorities  will decide the further modalities.

The institute was founded in 1949. The university was founded by Sir Pratapsinghrao Gaekwad and it is named in the honor of Maharaja Sayajirao.  The University is run by Sir Sayajirao Diamond Jubilee and Memorial Trust. The trust caters the needs of the people of the former state of Baroda.
