Saveetha University
Saveetha University, established in the year 2005, recognised by UGC is one of the most sought to University in Chennai. This Private University is India’s Leading Education Machineries and largest Specialist Centre for Education. The University has over 100 patents and 7365 publications.
The University has backed itself around 1300 awards and holds 3 Guinness World Records.
Going on with the numbers the University also has 8187 projects some being done and some are still in progress. Also, it has 150 MoU’s with them.
The University offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Dental, Law, Management, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Engineering and Medical.

The University has been divided into two campuses, where the main campus which is in Poonamallee has only three colleges, namely Saveetha College of Management, Saveetha Dental College and Hospital, and Saveetha School of Law. Whereas, Saveetha Medical College, Saveetha College of Engineering, Saveetha College of Physiotherapy, and Saveetha College of Nursing are there in the Thandalam Campus both in Chennai.
The University is also well connected with the transportation facilities, as it is only 27.6 km away from Chennai Airport which will take around an hour and a half to reach from the Airport to the University via a car and vice-versa, and 22 km from Chennai Central Railway Station which will take approximately an hour to reach Saveetha University from Railway Station and vice-versa.
The University has been equipped with all modern amenities and facilities and has been awarded an ‘A’ grade from NAAC. Each and every college has different infrastructural facilities according to the needs of the students.
The University has separate Hostels, Cafeterias, Gymnasium, Sports Complex, Auditorium, Placement Cell, Wi-Fi, and classrooms with every college, where the Saveetha School of Law provides Moot Court according to the needs of the course. Similarly, The Saveetha College of Engineering provides a Convention Hall, Laboratories, Geology Lab, and Vector Scaling Lab.

Saveetha University accepts applications through online mode. One needs to visit the official website and click on the online application link. Fill in all the details required in the application form and attach the related documents. Pay the application fees online.
Saveetha University PG Admission
Saveetha University offers an array of courses with different specializations such as M.E./M.Tech, MS, MD, M.Ed. M.Sc., MBA, etc. The duration of the course varies from course to course. The minimum eligibility to apply for postgraduate is to have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized board. The admission to various courses depends upon the performance in National Level Common entrance test or the entrance test conducted by the University.
Students who want to take admission in Masters of Engineering or Maters of Technology need to sit for TANCET. Students who’ve given GATE can apply directly.
Admission to Medical Courses like MD, MS and DM depends on the performance in NEET conducted by CBSE.
Admission to B.Ed and M.Ed is done on the basis of marks scored in the pre-degree qualification or equivalent. For B.Ed, candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline and for M.Ed the candidates must be B.Ed graduate.
Admission to MBA courses would depend upon the performance in CAT/MAT/GMAT entrance exams.

Saveetha University UG Admissions
Saveetha University offers an array of courses with different specializations such as B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc., BA LLB, BBA LLB, BPT, etc. The duration of the course varies from course to course. The minimum eligibility to apply for undergraduate is to have a 10+2 certificate from a recognized board. The admission to various courses depends upon the performance in National Level Common entrance test or the entrance test conducted by the University.
Students who’ve given CLAT and LSAT will be preferred for admission in law courses. The students would also have to appear for Saveetha University Law Entrance Examination (SULEE).
Admission to Medical Courses like MBBS and BDS depends on the performance in NEET conducted by CBSE. To take admission in BAMS, the candidate must have passed 10+2 leave or equivalent in cognate discipline.
For taking admission to Engineering courses like BE/B.Tech and BE/B.Tech (Lateral), the students need to appear in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test or Common Entrance Test conducted by Anna University
