The G D Goenka University was established in 2013, The University is located at Sohna Gurgaon Road, Gurgaon, Haryana. There are various schools and departments that are providing the best of service to the students studying in the university. The students are getting all kinds of facilities

The university is established under Haryana Private Universities Act, 2013 and has been notified in Haryana Govt. GAZ. (EXTRA).MAY 3, 2013 (VYSK.13,1935 SAKA). G.D.Goenka University is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is competent to award degrees as specified by UGC under section 22 of UGC Act, 1956 Bar Council of India (BCI) has approved all the law programmes, also Council of Architecture (CoA) has approved all the architecture courses of this university. Education programmes of G.D.Goenka University are recognised by National Council of Teachers Education (NCTE). Pharmacy programme of G.D.Goenka University is approved by Pharmacy Council of India Universities do not require AICTE approval. As, AICTE approval is only for institutions which are affiliated to Universities. G.D.Goenka University is a full fledged University established by a State Act, it does not require AICTE approval. G.D.Goenka University is a Member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU)


GD Goenka University Admission Process

The candidates applying for admission to the programmes offered by the university must have scored minimum marks in the qualifying examinations with relevant subjects. The admissions to the programmes offered by the university are done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. For some programmes, the university conducts its own entrance examination Goenka Aptitude Test for Admission (GATA). The candidates applying for such programmes need to qualify GATA followed by a personal interview for admission to the university.

 


GD Goenka University Application Process

The application process for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes offered by the university is available online as well as offline. Visit the official website to fill the online application form or download the application form. The downloaded application form can be sent to the university along with demand draft of an application fee of Rs. 1000. The candidates who choose to submit their application online can pay the application fee using net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ demand draft.


GD Goenka University PG Admission

The university offers admission to postgraduate programmes in the fields of architecture & planning, communication, engineering, fashion & design, hospitality, humanities & social science, law, management, education and medical & allied sciences. Some of the postgraduate programmes offered by the university are M.Plan, MA Social Media, MA Media Management, M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, Master of Library Science, LLM, MBA, PGDM, Master of Physiotherapy, etc.

The applicants must have scored minimum marks in qualifying examinations to be eligible for admission to the postgraduate programmes. Admissions to some of the undergraduate programmes offered by the university are done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination and for other undergraduate programmes, the admissions are done on the basis of the score obtained in the common entrance test i.e. Goenka Aptitude Test for Admission (GATA) conducted by the university. GD Goenka University Admission 2017

Also, the candidates who are eligible for direction admission on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination may be asked to appear for GATA if the admission committee feels the need to conduct the admission test. To apply for admission to the programmes offered by the university, the candidates need to fill either the online application form or download the application form from the official website of the university and send the same to the university with demand draft of Rs. 1000 towards the application fee. The candidates filling the online application form can choose to pay the application fee of Rs. 1000 through demand draft/ net banking/ debit card / credit card.
