Dr. D. Y. Patil Admission Process

1. The admission to any of the courses will be given only if the candidates meet the eligibility criteria as set by the University which depends on the stream and the programme.
2. The candidates are also required to have appeared for and passed the Entrance Test relevant to their field or Entrance Tests conducted by the University, if any. Admission will be on the basis of merit obtained in such tests.
3. 15% of the Seats in all the courses under all the programmes have been rederved for NRI/ Institutional Categories. Such reservation and percentage will also vary according to the course.
4. Candidates willing to take admission will also be required to pay Registration Fees (one time) and Examination Fees (as prescribed from time to time). Such fees will also vary according to the course opted by the candidate.

The candidates shall bring the following documents with them at the time of admission to the College:

Eligibility Criteria

1. The candidate should have passed B. Sc. (Nursing) Registered with INC and concerned state Nursing Council.
2. Admission will be on the basis of All India Post Graduate Nursing Entrance Test - 2017 (AIPGNET-2017) conducted by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The aspirant is required to clear any examination equivalent to H.S.C./ 10+2 examination, of any recognised Board/ University after 12 years of study. 50% in PCB for general category and 40% for reserved category.
2. The admissions to M.B.B.S. courses shall be done on the basis of the merit list as ascertained from the performance of the candidates in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2017-18 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi by DGHS New Delhi.

B. Sc. Nursing

Eligibility Criteria

1. The candidate, seeking admission to the B. Sc. (Nursing), shall have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination / the Indian School Certificate (ISC) examination / Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination or any other examination equivalent to 10+2 HSC examination of any recognized Board from any school / college situated in India after 12 years of study. The candidate with other qualifications shall get equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian University (AIU), New Delhi.
2. The candidate, seeking admission to B. Sc. (Nursing), shall have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually. For admission to B. Sc. (Nursing) the candidate must have obtained 45% aggregate marks for general category (40% & for reserve category) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together in the qualifying examination, i.e. 10 + 2 / HSC or an equivalent examination.
3. A candidate who has appeared or is likely to appear for qualifying examination i.e. HSC etc., and whose results have not been declared at the time of AIAHCET -17 shall also be considered eligible to appear for AIAHCET -17 provided he/she has offered the above mentioned subjects at the said qualifying examinations.
