Birla Global University
In the village Gothapatna, which is on the outskirts of The Bhubaneshwar city. The University campus Birla global University, one of the most esteemed universities is a private university located covers almost 30 acres of land, providing its students the most of the facilities of the 9 block buildings, as well as the green environment, which creates a great environment for its students. The establishment of the university has been on the basis of Birla Global university bill, 2015, which was introduced by State Higher Education Minister Pradeep Kumar Panigrahi.
“The objective of this bill is to impart quality education in the state through the Kolkata-based Birla Academy of Art and Culture, a non – profit making trust registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1982” – State Higher Education Minister.
The Act also emphasized on the management of the university would be carried out by a Board of Governors which is in charged by the Chairman, Smt. Jayshree Mohta. The Chancellor of the university is, however, The Honourable Governor of Odisha.
The Birla Global University is divided into 4 different schools, them being:-

The future plans of existing programs/schools and the new schools is under the very planning of the University, since it plans on opening new schools mainly in the fields of Art & Agriculture, Literature, Sciences and research programs with the thought of varying the educational part in the heart of Bhubaneshwar.
The residential life of the University provides students with a choice of living in the college which is both on and off the campus which provides students with liberties such as privacy since the rooms are either based on single or twin sharing. The campus also has medical facilities too, where which an ambulance is present 24 hours a day to meet any sort of an emergency that might just occur on the campus.
When it comes to amenities, The campus has a mess which provides students with the breakfast, lunch , evening snacks and dinner, where which the students conduit decides the menu for the same. Apart from the Mess, the university also has a cafeteria where which the various kinds of snacks are served. For the students who would not wish to go out to get their daily use products, the university campus also provides the students with a Tuck shop which takes care of the basic needs of the students
The university campus also provides its students with the gymnasium facility where which the students have the entire access to it, Both Girls and Boys have different time slots to use the gym.
Apart from a very diversified campus life, The Faculty being provided to the students acts as an entrepreneur in accordance to the schools that they belong to in both academic and non-academic activities to give university students the best experience about how the industry works along with the required knowledge. The Birla Global University believes in providing its students with the best professional experience in every field what so ever as on a regular basis The University holds various types of seminars, workshop where which well-reputed professionals from the Industry provides the students of the university with the insight of the industry, which also provides the students with a direction to research on.
Birla Global University’s educational center is an essential part or one of the main attractions for the university itself. From providing textbooks which is going to help students anyway, to journals and working papers. With a two-floor reading space, the access to the library is being provided to the university students, ex-students, research workers, staff, and visitors.
Birla Global University Admission Process
The admission process for MBA and BBA involves Group Discussion and Personal Interview and the admission process for other courses like BAJMC, MAJMC, M.Com, etc. involves a written test/ entrance test followed by a personal interview.
Admission Process for MBA Programmes:

After an applicant has submitted his application form online, his/ her application is processed to verify the eligibility for the programme applied for.

If found eligible, the applicant is intimated about the date and venue of selection process – GD and PI.

Applicant interested to appear for selection process needs to carry photo copy/ Xerox copy of the last qualifying examination along with GDPI call letter.

The next step is to appear for the written ability test, followed by Group Discussion and finally a Personal Interview.

Final selection of candidates is done on the basis of career performance, performance in selection process and performance in CAT/XAT/CMAT and MAT

Birla Global University Postgraduate Admission
The Birla Global University offers admission to postgraduate programmes including MBA, MBA-BFSI, MAJMC, MA Economics and M.Com. The eligibility criteria for admission to postgraduate programmes is scoring minimum marks in the qualifying examinations and competitive exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT and GMAT. Admissions to management programmes are done on the basis of work experience, academic and professional qualifications, regional background, etc. However, the admissions to other postgraduate programmes are done on the basis of performance in written test, group discussion and personal interview.
