About Bharati Vidyapeeth University

Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVU) is a private deemed University which was established in 1964. The University has been accredited by NAAC with ‘A+’ grade. The University has a realm of 78 Schools and 60 Institutes of Higher education. The University is famous for its academic excellence in all the domains it offers. Bharati Vidyapeeth University has eight campuses across the country.

The BVU School of Distance Education aims at providing knowledge to those students who are unable to get enrolled in the higher education programmes or courses in any University. Therefore, the University provides relief to the students from the constraints of time and place. School of Distance Learning enhances the students’ personality through skill development. There is the provision of all types of courses.

Admission Procedure of the School of Distance Education:-

The candidate will have to apply for admission to any academic programme of his / her choice in the prescribed form attached with this brochure. The candidate will be admitted provisionally to the programme on verification of the eligibility for admission.

He / She will be asked to complete the eligibility requirement by submitting the following original documents which will be returned after verification:-
  • Original copies of 10th and 12th Mark sheets of examination for verification and one photocopy of each mark sheet attested by the Director of the Study Centre OR self-attested.
  • Original copy of Mark sheet of last qualifying examination for verification and one photocopy of each mark sheet attested by the Director of the Study Centre OR self-attested.
  • Original copy of Passing Certificate of last qualifying examination for verification and one attested photocopy by the Director of the Study Centre OR self-attested.
  • Two I-card size photographs
  • Transfer Certificate / Leaving Certificate (Original)
  • Migration Certificate (Original).
  • Gap Certificate (If there is a gap of more than 2 years in education).
  • Caste certificate (if applicable) attested by the Director of the Study Centre OR self-attested.
  • Experience Certificate (if applicable)
  • Gazette Certificate / Official Marriage Registration Certificate (in the case of the change in name) attested by the Director of the Study Centre OR self-attested.
  • Document of age proof attested by the Director of the Study Centre OR self-attested. Documents which will be accepted are 1. Aadhaar Card, 2. Passport, 3. Election Card, 4. PAN Card, 5. Birth Certificate, 6. Driving License.
  • Photo identity document attested by the Director of the Study Centre OR self-attested.
  • Bonafide Certificate (if applicable)
