Avantika University Admission Process

Once the candidate has applied, he/she needs to will be contacted by the Admission Committee for proceedings. Please refer to the points below to get more information on Avantika University’s Admission Process:

• On scrutiny and acceptance of the application form, the shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a self-recorded video (120 seconds) and appear in Avantika Scholarship Test (AST) in online mode as and when specified by the committee. In case of B.Des and M.Des, the candidates would need to sit for MIT ID-DAT (Design Aptitude Test) and appear for a studio test and an interview.
• Call letters will be issued to the shortlisted candidates
• The candidate will be required to register for AST( by booking date and time slot).The rules and regulations along with the exam URL will be communicated to the candidates
• The decision on the application will be evaluated based on the SOP, Video, and AST along with minimum eligibility. In case of B.Des and M.Des, the application will be evaluated based on MIT ID-DAT, studio test, and interview
• Status of the application will be communicated after the evaluation process
• The norms for selection at Avantika University will be the sole right of the Admission Committee. Their decision would be the final decision
• Any direct or indirect attempt to influence the admission committee or its members will result in disqualification of the candidate

Avantika University Application Process

Avantika University only invites applications through online mode. Please refer to the points below for filling up the application form:

• Aspirants can get the access to the application form through the official website
• An automated link will be sent to the aspirant’s registered e-mail ID. The candidate can activate his/her account by clicking on this link
• Provide the required details in the application form. An applicant is required to submit Statement of Purpose SoP (maximum 500 words  emphasizing on the reason for taking up the particular program at Avantika University)
• Proceed to make the payment, which is INR 1000/- per programme. Aspirants can choose from the payment modes mentioned: Net Banking, Credit Card/ Debit Card, by Cash/ Demand Draft/ Cheque
• Accept the declaration and submit the application form                                                                      
• Avantika University’s team will contact the aspirant for further details on the admission process

Avantika University PG Admission

Avantika University offers only one course at the postgraduate level that is M.Des. The course is for a duration of 2 years (4 semesters). To be eligible the aspirant needs to be a graduate and must sit for MIT ID-DAT.  

In the course of the Masters programme, the university focuses on the holistic development of an individual. The academic structure pays attention to evolving the Foundation (Micro Projects) and Core in the first year and Professional (Macro Projects) and Experience (Internship) in the second.

Avantika University UG Admission

At the Undergraduate level, the university offers three programmes, namely, B.Des, B.Tech and B.Sc. B.Des and B.Tech are for a duration of four years, where, B.Sc. is for a duration of three years. To be eligible, aspirants must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks. Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech and B.Sc. programmes need to appear in the university conducted entrance test named Avantika Scholastic Test (AST).  For applying to B.Des the aspirants need to sit for MIT ID-DAT (Design Aptitude Test).

In the course of the Bachelors programme, the university focuses on the holistic development of an individual. The academic structure pays attention to evolving the Foundation (Micro Projects) and Specialization in the first year, Core (Minor Projects) in the second, Professional (Macro Projects) during the third year and Integrated Experience in the fourth year.

Avantika University Admission 2017

Avantika University located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh was established in 2015. The institution is approved by Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission. As per Dr. Sanjay Dhande (Chancellor), Avantika University will be the first Design Thinking University in the country. 

The University is affiliated to (MIT) Maharashtra Institute of Technology, which has been a renowned name since 1983. It offers 3 Bachelors and 1 Masters programmes.
