Anna University Admission Process

Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions as given below as on the last date of online submission are eligible to apply. Candidates whose results are awaited or have not passed the qualifying examination as on the last date of online submission are not eligible to apply and will not be considered.

  1. Tamil Nadu candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply and need not enclose Nativity Certificate. Other Tamil Nadu native candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from schools outside Tamil Nadu can also apply but will need to enclose a copy of Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/ digitally signed e- Certificate.
  2. Candidates should have passed their HSC or an equivalent qualifying examination with the minimum percentage of marks as prescribed by the university. Candidates should take into consideration the subjects as deemed necessary to be included by the University for calculation of such minimum marks. Improvement marks obtained by the candidates including other State candidates will not be considered.
