As per the directives of Honourable Supreme Court of India, the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE has been changed to National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and will be conducted into two phases i.e. NEET I and NEET II.

NEET I exam had scheduled on May 1, 2016 and NEET II will be conducted on July 24, 2016.
NEET II 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for all 15% All India Quota Seats
The applicant should have completed 17 years at the time of admission or should have turned 17 on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year of the MBBS/BDS Course.
The applicant should be an Indian national.
The upper age limit for this exam is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. This upper age limit is relaxed by a period of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

NEET II 2026 Counselling/Interview
Medical Counselling Committee of Directorate General of Health Services will conduct online counselling and the information of the same will be available on the official website of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
NEET II 2026 Exam Syllabus
The question papers for the test will be based on a common syllabus notified by the Medical council of India.
