Manipal University conducts online University-level Computer-based Entrance Test, named MU OET, across the country. Eligible students can take admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses through this examination. MU OET 2023 will be held in the month of April 2023. Candidates who are willing to take admission in Manipal University need to take Manipal University Online Entrance Test. It is a 2.30 hours duration test that contains 200 multiple choice questions. The question paper includes questions on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and General English based on the syllabus of 10+2 followed by major 10+2 Boards /Universities.

The estimated distribution of questions is as follows:

  • Physics -50 Questions
  • Chemistry-50 Questions
  • Mathematics-70 Questions
  • English & General Aptitude-30 Questions

MU OET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For Engineering & Technology and Medical Programmes:

Undergraduate Level-

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination in Science with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized board.

Postgraduate Level-

Candidates should have a Bachelors degree in their respective discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

For Management and Other Programmes:

Undergraduate Level-

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized board.

Postgraduate Level-

Candidates should have a Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
 

MU OET 2026 Application Details

Manipal University will release the online application form in the month of November 2023. Candidates need to check all the eligibility norms before applying online. Online Registration will not be considered accomplished if you don't pay the application fee. Hence, first check the eligibility then fill the complete application form with correct information, upload the relevant documents such as scanned copy of photograph and signature and lastly, submit the application fee. 

Candidates have to submit their personal, communicational, educational, and few other details in the application form. Alongside, the application fee of Rs. 600 and the examination fee of Rs. 1400 need to be remitted online.

  • Now open the link that says Online Registration
  • Input your BasicInformation
  • Then Select the Program of your choice & Make Online Payment
  • Provide your Contact Details
  • Then Provide all your Educational Qualification
  • Finish by downloading the Confirmation & Application Form

Application fees detail

The total fee for application includes the application fee of INR 600, mandatory for all Indian applicants and an entrance test fee of INR 1400, only for selected courses.

You can pay the application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or Demand Draft as per your convenience.

Application Fee of INR 2500, mandatory for all International applicants.

MU OET 2026 Counselling/Interview

The counseling of Manipal University Online Entrance Test will take place around June 2023. Qualified students will have to register and submit their choices. Seats will be allotted to as per their merit.

  • 10th standard marks card as proof of date of birth (Original)
  • Marks card of 10+2(Original)
  • Conduct/Character certificate issued by the School/College (Original)
  • Transfer certificate or School/College Leaving Certificate issued by the School/ College (Original)
  • PAN card of the parent
  • Aadhar Card of the Candidate
  • One set of photocopies of all the above documents
  • Four recent and identical passport size photographs and one stamp size photograph
