Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical (KEAM), also known as Kerala CEE is a state level entrance exam required to take admission to numerous professional courses such as engineering, medical, agricultural, architecture, forestry or B.Tech, B.Arch, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BHMS, B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Forestry, B.V.Sc & AH, B.F.Sc courses offered by various Government Colleges, Government Sponsored Self Financing and Private Self Financing Colleges in Kerala.
Candidates, who will qualify in KEAM 2023 exam, will be able to get admission in following mentioned courses offered at Karnataka colleges accepting KEAM:
- B.Tech
- BDS
- BHMS
- B.Arch
- BAMS
- MBBS
- BSMS
- BSc.
- BFSc.
- BUMS

KEAM 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
For MBBS, BDS, BSMS
Candidate should complete 10+2 with 50% marks in Biology/ Biotechnology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology.
Student must secure minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/SEBC) in KEAM Medical 2016 to be eligible for MBBS/ BDS program.
For BAMS/ BHMS
Candidate should complete 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Biology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students having Biotechnology in place of Biology will not be considered for BAMS and BHMS courses.
For BUMS
Candidate should pass 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 50% marks in Biology separately.
Applicant must have Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as a subject in 10th or 12th.
For B.Sc.(Hons.) Agri., B.Sc.(Hons) Forestry, B.F.Sc
Aspirant should secure minimum 50% marks in Biology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. Students having Biotechnology in place of Biology will not be considered for BAMS and BHMS courses.
For BVSc. & AH
Student should obtain at least 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2 from a recognized board.
Candidate should secure with 50% marks in B.Sc degree with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany or Biotechnology from a recognized university.
For Engineering
Candidate should 10+2 with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board.
For B.Tech (Dairy Science & Technology)
Candidate should complete 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Mathematics/ Biology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology.
For Architecture (B. Arch)
Candidate should complete 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject of with 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Candidate should have 10+3 Diploma in any stream with 50% aggregate marks recognised by Central/State Government.
OR
Candidate having International Baccalaureate Diploma with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject.
Also, student must secure minimum 40% OR 80 marks out of 200 in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) exam.
Age:
Minimum age limitation to apply for KEAM 2016 is 17 years as on the 31st December 2016. Also, there is no upper limit to appear for Kerala CEE 2016.

KEAM 2025 Application Details
Candidate should visit www.ceekerala.org or www.cee.kerala.gov.in and click on the button “KEAM-2023 Online Application” to register for Kerala CEE. After registering, an application number will be generated.
Login to KEAM 2023 website with application number and the password you created while registration. Fill up all the required fields and submit the form.
After final submission, pay application fee.
How to Apply for KEAM 2023
- Visit the official website of KEAM
- Click on ‘KEAM 2023’ on the home page
- Fill the KEAM 2023 application form
- Attach the scanned copies of required documents
- Pat the KEAM application fees via security card or demand draft drawn on a Nationalised/Scheduled Bank in favor of CEE, Kerala payable at Thiruvanthapuram
- Send the application form along with all the enclosures at the official address
- Keep a copy for future references
Mode of Payment
Security Card: Candidate can get Security Card and Prospectus from the selected post offices by paying the prescribed fee by cash. Security Card contains a unique “Key Number” and “Serial Number” which is required for filling up of payment details in the online application.
Demand Draft: Candidate can pay application fee through Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalised/Scheduled Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
After submitting the application fee, take a print out of the form and sent it to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) along with the required documents.

KEAM 2016 `fee is Rs. 1000/- for general students and Rs. 500/- for SC category. ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

There will be 120 questions in each paper of KEAM 2016 which is to be solved in 150 minutes. There will be 5 options of each question. You will need to select the correct option. Each correct answer will be awarded with four marks and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Questions left unanswered will not carry any negative marking. However, questions with more than one response will be taken as an incorrect answer and will be awarded with negative mark.
