Before submitting an application for the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 2026, candidates should verify that they fulfill the specified eligibility criteria. The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) has established straightforward and accessible requirements to enable the greatest number of candidates to take the exam.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

• A minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) is generally required.

• Final year/semester students of graduation are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree before the start of the MBA/PGDM program.

• Candidates who have successfully completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• There is no upper age limit for appearing in the ATMA 2026 exam.

Nationality

• Candidate must be an Indian citizen to be eligible for ATMA 2026.

Number of Attempts

• There is no restriction on the number of attempts. Candidates can appear for ATMA multiple times in a year as the exam is conducted 3–4 times annually.

Who Can Apply?

• Graduates from any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering, etc.).

• Working professionals looking to pursue MBA/PGDM.

• Students in the final year of graduation who will complete their degree before admission.

• Students who have completed CA can also apply.

The application process for ATMA 2026 will take place online via the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Candidates must register, complete the application form, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee by the specified deadline.

• Online Registration:

  • Visit the official website.

  • Click on "Enroll for ATMA" and create a profile using your valid email ID and mobile number.

  • A unique application number will be generated.

• Fill the Application Form:

  • Login using your application number and password.

  • Enter personal details, academic qualifications, and exam center preferences carefully.

• Upload Documents:

  • Upload scanned copies of your passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size.

• Pay Application Fee:

  • Pay the application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Paytm wallet.

  • Keep the transaction receipt for future reference.

• Download Confirmation Page:

  • After successful submission, download and print the confirmation page as proof of application.

For Male Candidates: ₹2000/-
For Female Candidates: ₹1500/- 
For North Eastern States Candidates: ₹1000/-

Important Points to Remember:

• The application fee must be paid only through online mode; no offline payment will be accepted.

• Extra charges (if any) may be applicable as per the payment gateway.

• Candidates should download and keep a copy of the fee receipt for future reference.

3- Document Verification: Candidates are required to present original documents for verification. This may include:

• ATMA rank card and admit card

• Class 10 and 12 marksheets

• Graduation marksheet

• Aadhaar card

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• Recent passport-sized photographs

4- Seat Allotment: Based on the candidates' performance in the counselling rounds and document verification, seats are allotted. The allotment is influenced by factors such as merit, category, and availability of seats.

ATMA scores are recognized by more than 500 management institutes throughout India. Each institute may implement its own unique admission requirements and counselling procedures. Consequently, candidates are advised to frequently visit the official websites of the institutes they wish to apply to for comprehensive details.

The ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions) assesses candidates based on their skills in three fundamental domains:
Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Skills, and Quantitative Skills.
The test is organized into six sections, two dedicated to each domain, comprising 30 questions in each section, with an overall time limit of 3 hours (180 minutes).
Each question awards +1 mark for a correct answer, while incorrect answers incur a penalty of - 0.25 marks.

• West India: Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Surat, Vadodara

• South India: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kochi, Vijayawada, Trivandrum

• East India: Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati

• Central India: Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Jodhpur

• Other Cities: Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Kanpur, Udaipur, Mysuru, Mangalore, Nizambad, Palghar, Panaji, Tirupati, Warangal, Vizag

Please note that the availability of these centers may vary each year based on the number of applicants and logistical considerations.

As you go through the ATMA 2026 application process, you will have the opportunity to choose your desired exam centers.
You may select up to three cities based on your preference. AIMS will strive to assign you to a center in your top-choice city. If that isn't feasible, they will look at your second and third choices. Please note that once your application is submitted, you cannot alter your exam center.
