The Younus College of Engineering and Technology was started in the year 2002, by Fathima Memorial Educational Trust. The college is a self financing engineering college in the private sector, recognised by Government of Kerala and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The College is affiliated to the University of Kerala.

The library has about more than 10,000 books on various topics in different branches of Engineering Science.The reading room subscribes a number of National and International journals as well.Apart from the curriculum books the library also issues a good number of compact disks consisting of digital and technical knowledge.
