Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College & Hospital, Bangalore was established by the Vokkaligara Sangha and the Sangha is still running and managing the college. The Sangha is working on developing the entire educational scenario of the state through opening new educational institutions. The main objectives of the college include imparting quality education in the field of Dental Surgery and allied subjects. The college is aimed at imparting quality training for academic and clinical skills and also in bringing out professionals with high ethical values.

There are three other Libraries available for the students, one in the Banashankari Campus, other is the Central library of KIMS, and another at V.S.Dental College. About 5000text books encompassing all branches of dentistry and medicine are available in the college library. Apart 62 National and International Journals and other publication are available in the college library. Apart from these each departments has library of it's own.

VS Dental College & Hospital - An all-rounder

VS Dental college is a well reputed college and is rightly so. Among the dental colleges in the city, VS is one of the best after government colleges. This is in terms of infrastructure, the highly qualified staff, the facilities, the student friendly atmosphere and most importantly, the varied inflow of patients which provides the students with the opportunity to learn and build up confidence to manage their practice after graduation.

Good learning experience, would recommend

VSDC provides a good learning experience as the hospital let us encounter a vast variety of cases. The college has an encouraging and well experienced faculty. The college is well known for having a high rate of patient flow everyday making it one of the finest colleges in Karnataka.

A good college for under-graduation

The college has good infrastructure, good teaching faculty and good patient flow. The teaching curriculum is excellent. However, the management is not up to the mark and needs to improve. Students in the college are supportive and helpful. No ragging in the campus is tolerated. Overall a good experience.

A wholesome experience at V.S Dental College

My experience at this institution was nothing short of perfect. Great facilities and infrastructure, co-curricular and sports, a good patient inflow and excellent yet updated professors. A few turbulence (as expected), nothing marred the near perfectness of this place.

Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College & Hospital Review

Area around the campus is under-developed. No proper transport facility. Parking facility is paid. Hostel staff is uncooperative. Mess food is pathetic. There are no lifts in the building. Extracurricular activities are not much encouraged. Less funds for fests. Students are from different cultures and states. Internships are unpaid, not even travelling allowance is given. Faculties are unprofessional.
