Kalamkari Centre Society started the scheme of Community Polytechnic and is funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of Secondary and Higher Education) and implemented by NITTTR (National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research) Chandigarh. The main motive of scheme is to provide meaningful and qualitative training to non-formal trainees which should be competency based by qualified trainers in collaboration with highly qualified staff/faculty of the polytechnic.
