Vastu Kala Academy, was established in 1993 by the Institute for Socialist Education, a society registered under the Societies Act. It offers a five year (ten semesters) full time Undergraduate Programme in Architecture, which is recognized by the Council of Architecture under section 20 of Architect Act 1972.

Poor infrastructure, good teaching quality.

The college has a poor infrastructure but the quality of teaching is very good. Architecture being a very tough subject requires a lot of efforts. The time given for the completion of work is very less. The faculty is very strict but has a good knowledge of their subjects.

Academically good but lacks infrastructure

The college lacks in infrastructure and in some basic facilities. However, the faculty and prestige of the college is something that is a very positive thing. Most of the teachers are supportive and they tend to give us all the opportunities to improve our work as well as knowledge.

A good college for pursuing Architecture

It is a good college with most basic facilities. I expect a little more of focus towards campus improvement. Other than that the faculty members who have been teaching us so far are great, understanding and knowledgeable. The teachers make a lot of effort towards making us comfortable during the class.The classrooms though should be a little more equipped with better lockers, storage, tables, stools etc.

College life here is fun as well as challenging!

The college lacks infrastructure as compared to other architecture colleges in Delhi. Seniors are very supportive and helpful. The faculty teaches well but it's a hectic course as it requires a lot of manual work patience and concentration. The campus is centrally located and there is a proper connectivity to the nearby metro station as well as bus stands.

Studying architecture is more about performing rather than just studying. We were given the opportunity of making an arch all on our own. We learnt a lot of things which cannot be studied in books. It was an experience worth learning.
