Vaishali Institute of Business and Rural Management, Muzaffarpur was established in 1983 under the aegis of Vikas Seva Sansthan (a registered trust under Societies Act 1860), to cater to the society at large, shares the same vision. The institute of management was set up with an aim to provide quality management education, which is affordable and accessible to every section of the society. All the courses offered by the institute are affiliated to B. R. Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar, also has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
