University of Technology and Management will have a dedicated placement cell which would assist UTM students in getting appropriate placements. The placement team would be actively involved in targeting the right kind of job profiles for students which would be in sync with their abilities and facilitate their long term career planning.

UTM believes in maintaining a robust infrastructure to engage and support an effective teaching-learning process. Facilities to be offered at the University of Technology and Management, Shillong campus include state-of-the-art laboratories, updated libraries, modern classrooms, auditorium, and sports facilities to keep UTM at par with international standards. The University envisions having each classroom equipped with the latest audio-visual equipments comprising video projection systems supplemented by adequate learning /training aids. The students will be provided with the individual notebooks for purpose of academic computing. The University hostel will be outfitted with all possible amenities for students to have a comfortable stay during their program. In addition to this, the University also plans to have excellent sports facilities, enabling students to maintain a high level of physical fitness.
