University Institute of Engineering (UIE) is a part of Chandigarh University. Today, UIE’s world-acclaimed faculty, state-of-the-art research laboratories and highly interdisciplinary curricula offer an experience that is unparalleled. UIE is well equipped with all the modern facilities.

Classroom

There are 7 seminar halls, one each in separate blocks with adjustable lighting and the State-of-the- Art Audio-Video facility and LCD projectors. The University has an800-capacity auditorium, outfitted with the latest digital gadgetry which makes it an ideal center where necessity blended with luxury co-exist.

Laboratory

The state-of-the-art laboratories in the University facilitate the training and teaching of students in various streams. The laboratories cater to the needs of the students studying in the respective departments. Our laboratories comply with the International standards which help the students to be well-conversant with the various instruments. By handling the most sophisticated equipment, the students build up a high confidence level, which benefit them in the long run.

Library

CU Library is one of the central support services of Chandigarh University. The objective of the CU Library is to provide information services in all aspects, full text digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the user community. University Institute of Engineering, Chandigarh University Review

It is a good university, focusing mainly on the students future. Personality, attitude and skill development programs are conducted for the students. Good opportunities of placements are offered to the students. Highest package of 28 L per year. The college authority helps in overall development of the students. Some of the teachers are not experienced and are not able to make students understand the topic properly. Methods are old fashioned.

An average college, like most of the colleges in North India

There is no entrance exam, nor is there a minimum criteria of marks required, for an admission in this institution. Faculty is below average. I am currently in 3rd semester and we don't have teacher's to teach. There is only one teacher for 6 sections. For our core subjects like Java, DS, the course structure is not up to the value of money that we are paying.

Excellent infrastructure , Good placements, Average faculty and location

ALREADY REVIEWED SOME COLLEGES The infrastructure of the institute is above par than most of the other private colleges . In terms of placements the university has proved itself many times, almost every student gets placed from CSE( eligible students) . The faculty is not very experienced they are the own college grads, and are not much experienced. Overall its a good university and hostels are better than any other hostel.

There is transport service available near the college after 7 pm. The food quality should be improved. The campus life is very good. The college provides good placements. Better faculty is required.
