Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI), Induri is one of the largest maritime educational centers. The mission is to be an instrument of positive changes in the maritime industry for the ultimate benefit of society. TMI shall facilitate acquisition of right learning, right skill and the right attitudes, by all those who undertake education and training at the Institute. The institute shall continue to expand its area of influence in the future by introducing educational programmes on diverse aspects of maritime activities to rightfully earn and maintain the character of a full-fledged maritime university.

Placement
Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) is glad to have had the following companies join in the Internship Program. TMI is also proud of the fact the vast majority of students who intern with shipping companies find stable employment with them upon graduation. TMI interns after graduation, ship managers and ship owners greatly value the in depth knowledge gained by these interns and have recruited them for shipboard positions.
Infrastructures
The TMI campus is built in a rural area with neither the benefits of an urban infrastructure nor the constraints of the cityscape. This made it possible for the TMI campus to be purpose built with infrastructural facilities that could be leveraged for the learning experience.
Classroom
All the classrooms of the college department are well furnished with all modern facilities.
Laboratory
The campus is fully wired for high performance networking in all forms. High-speed data communications take place over a fully switched network based on an optical fibre backbone with gigabyte bandwidth. Campus residents can freely access the Institute's server resources as well as the Internet from almost anywhere on the campus.
