Placement

Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies (TIAS) has a Corporate Resource Centre (CRC). CRC deals with placement process and shapes students for entering in the corporate world. The centre is managed by experienced professional from the corporate and faculties that helps the students to prepare them for the on campus and off campus interviews and group discussions. Placement team works very hard on student’s feeble points and improve them by providing soft skill training, technical training, guest lecture and various personality development programmes. Department also imparts summer training and internship in top notch firms of the nation.

Infrastructures

TIAS has a picturesque campus which is encircled by greenery and flower beds which creates a healthy atmosphere for academic. TIAS institute has an aesthetically designed building, spacious library-tech computer lab. Institute also provides cafeteria where students can chat and eat scrumptious food, capacious classrooms, and playground for sports facility.

Classroom

TIAS has trendy classrooms which are fully air conditioned and packed with modern facilities like black boards, OHP, LCD, podium, tables and chairs. The classrooms facilities make academics’ conducive for students. 

Laboratory

The computer labs of the Institute is fruitful resource of gaining information and knowledge, hence Institute imparts four computer labortoroies through its MCA department. All four computer labs cater all the needs of students and faculty. The computer labs of the college are well kit out with latest tools and impart relevant knowledge to all students. The computer labs of the institute comprises high-speed computers, Digital kit, FCP Machine, Routers, Switches, LAN Kits required software

Library

The libary of the college is packed with valuable resources, which assists learner, faculty and staff in their various projects. The library of the college has 41146 volumes of carefully selected collection of more than 4100 booksn in various domains of Management, Computer Science, Journalism, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Economics, Business Strategies, Operation Mgt, Information Technology and Mass Communication. Library imparts Bar-Coding facility through Libsys Library Software

Okayish Institute with some setbacks

REVIEWED MULTIPLE COLLEGES A college is known for its study. So I'll start off with that scenario. Study is fine. Teachers are qualified and mostly doctorate. Infrastructure is medium and so it lacks in basic needs like sports ground and no commute available for the students. Library, labs, conference hall, auditorium, fans& lights, water system, medical aid and washrooms on every rooms and floor respectively. Canteen is quite good. It has a dicso in the basement. PG building has centralised AC system whereas UG building will have AC's by September,2017 end. It conducts programmes and cultural fest biannually and provides its students with 2-3 trips in an year. Uniform is for 3days(MWF) Attendance is not that major blow. Teachers are lenient in that matter. So stay cool. XD Plus there are no as such societies as found in DU. It has self organised and coordinated groups. Self participation is the buzz word. But lack of infrastructure and presence of provision of centralised fests and facilities give this college a major blow. BJMC course is a good course to be studied from this institute. Courses offered: BBA,BJMC,MBA MCA

College review of Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies

Tecnia is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indrprashtha University. In Tecnia there are four courses: 1. BBA 2.BJMC 3. MBA 4. MCA. The faculty of our college is very good. They all are completed their PhD. Our college provide internship and 100% placement. Our college is celebrated every festival. Tecnia college organises national and international conference. The college is fully air conditioned.

Big fees and less benefits

My 3 years of college life was full of problems. 1st semester, all my assignments were misplaced by the staff and asked me to write them all over again. There is no lift facility for the students and they have to go all the way to th 7th floor which they call 4th floor. Teachers are average, no AC facility for UG students. Not a good canteen, food is good but in summer's, it is difficult to sit in a place where there is no fan. No such problems with attendance. People say it's your college, say good things about I just can't lie about it. It is a 3 point college in a 5 point world. With flaws and some good points too. If you don't go to gym then going to your class will be your exercise everyday.

Drop a year if you wish to but don't come to tecnia ever

SUNITA WILLIAMS! Tecnia is one of the worst college ever you will experience.. there are more bad colleges than tecnia but tecnia is by far the worst. The faculty members gets changed every year except 3-4 . Teachers aren't helping in nature. There is no campus too and the teachers are very ignorant towards students.. they don't respond to student's requests regarding things apart from academic . And more over even teachers which are appointed to students don't know how to teach properly. Some of them are teaching for the first time infact . Even though the college offers mass communication.. students have no access to "equipments" there which bdw have not been in use since last 5-6 or more years. Students who have their classrooms on 6th floor aren't allowed to use lift. Some teachers are utterly rude and we definitely don't get for what we paid for in the college. Many of the times syllabus remains incomplete till semester end examination. And the worst part is 2nd shift there and also students have to wear formal clothes alternatively in a week. The college doesn't understand that how can students who are studying mass communication and not a management course will wear formals and especially in this blistering heat of delhi.

Our college ain't that big, it has 2 buildings, one for the under-grad and the second for the post-grad! Also, the staff is of really professional teachers that actually care about your future.
