Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Engineering & Techonology is the Self-financed Engineering College, is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and recognized by Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai, Govt. of Maharashtra. The institute is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra State. The institute started with three branches has grown up with seven branches at UG and PG level.

Join this college only if you are focused on studies and nothing else

The campus is good and there's a sugar industry near by so the locality isn't so good. The people are helpful but narrow minded. For Chemical Engineering, the staff is good but it doesn't feel like an Engineering college, there is no freedom. The boys hostel is good. Girls have no freedom in hostel and they need to adjust with the environment; even wearing jeans isn't allowed. No events are organized in the college. The placements these days are really good. The highest package offered was 6 lac per annum.
