Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (SITM) established in 1996, is the pioneer in the field of Telecom Management in entire SAARC region. The institute endeavors to develop World-Class Telecom Business Leaders who can address the needs of a constantly changing business scenario in a technical field, such as telecom, with ease. The institute embraces the spirit of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" which focuses on bridging distances among the members of the world and facilitates cultural exchange amongst the students. The Institute in its 13th year of existence commits itself towards realizing the vision of its founding forefathers.

| Master of Business Administration (MBA) | 8 | Graduate from any recognized / statutory University or Institute with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Programmes which require specific discipline/ subject specialization need to be checked for eligibility as given by the respective Institute. A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU. Selection Process In order to qualify for the selection process of SITM the candidate is required to: Step 1: Appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), which is scheduled on 18th December 2016. For more details, refer to the website www.snaptest.org Step 2: After the SNAP test result is declared, candidates who have Applied, Registered and Paid for SITM will be short listed and called for GE-PIWAT (Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test), which will be held in Pune. Note: It is mandatory for a student to apply for SNAP and Register for SITM to be shortlisted for SITM. Weightage of Distribution of Marks :

Placement
SITM had a great placement season this academic year 2016. On the day zero of placements, there was a boom with 16 companies visiting the campus at a time and recruiting 90 students within just seven hours of time! Infrastructures
Institute is located in the Lavale campus which is known for its greenery and the most modern amenities which includes cafeterias serving delicious food, auditorium, excellent hostel facilities for Boys and Girls, Shopping Centre and many more. The campus has a perfect blend of everything that a student can ask for.
Laboratory
SITM has the latest state-of-the-art IT infrastructure with a Software Lab and a specialized Network Lab with 4 Mbps, wireless broadband leased line, 24 Hour Internet connectivity. The Software Lab has 1gbps network and three 2003 Windows server with 110 Core 2 Duo nodes. The software setup has latest versions of MS – Office, Visual Studio, Oracle and MS – Project.
Library
The SITM library has a collection encompassing various subjects from telecommunication to fiction. The library has over 6000 books, 32 journals & periodicals, and 600 digitized titles. Various types of documents for e.g. books, journals, CDs, VCDs, audio-videocassettes, are available for student's reference as well as borrowing.
