The college library affords ample reading opportunities to the students. There are more than 90,000 volumes in the library at present and more books are added every year. The library is housed in the spacious ground floor of the college building in which the hall serves as a reading room. Magazines and periodicals are always available to provide the latest information on currents events and affairs.

Campus and environment of college

Have two campus, old campus and new campus. All the BA Programs and Commerce department are found in old campus except English department from BA. In new campus we have the department of science. Two major drinking water supplier in new campus, one near the exit gate and another near the administrative block. Other than this there are several water tap near the entrance door of every washroom. similarly there is two major water supplier at the old campus, one near the BA Block and one at the B.Com block. Have libraries at both the campus, can borrow 3 books at a time (only for those who have issued library card). Otherwise everybody is welcome to read. Environment is good for hangout during break time. Have small gardens in the names of sub-departments on the science like Botanical garden etc. Flowers are planted in a garden near the reception. Little bit dusty but quite cool. Being right near the main road, little bit noisy but beautiful. During winter you can have easy sun bath at the big empty ground, which is mostly occupied by the players. Little bit far and off campus but have scenic beauty.

It's been a great privilege while studying in this college. And It has a very good faculty as well. We, the students of shraddhanand represent our college in various competitions of DU. The placements for the last year were very good as well. Almost all the students who met the eligibility criteria were placed.

Swami Shardhanand College is an excellent college in our state. Clean surrounding. Proximity to airport. The teachers and students are very cooperative and helpful. The environment of college is very joyful and interesting. The teachers take regular classes. They are active and hardworking. They are highly experienced and trained. They use innovative teaching methods. Modern amenities. Hostels are well furnished. Diversity towards gender, culture and ethnicity. Several societies, fest is organised every year. Placements should be improved. More companies should visit for recruitment. Average salary package.

Awesome college but lacks some discipline

A good college, the faculty is quite good. There is lack of discipline. There is a bus service. The infrastructure needs to be better. The sports staff is good.

Not one of the best colleges but still better than nothing

REVIEWED MULTIPLE COLLEGES The college is good. Classes are regular. Infrastructure is not so good but it doesn't matter at all. University gives you a chance to go up in whichever field you want to go. Teachers are good by nature but crowd is not that good. But from my point of view, you can join this college for fun as well as studies.
