St. Xavier 's College is affiliated to the Kerala University and is approved by the NAAC. The college is maintained by the jesuites of kerala province . Bachelor of Science (Physics) - Candidate should have cleared 10+2 or equivalent with Physics as one of the subjects in Science stream from state board or any board recognized by the university. The total marks will comprise of marks obtained in 10+2 and marks obtained in Physiccs subject. -
Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) - Candidate should have cleared 10+2 or equivalent with Chemistry as one of the subjects in Science stream from state board or any board recognized by the university. The total marks will comprise of marks obtained in 10+2 and marks obtained in Chemistry subject. -
Bachelor of Science (Botany & Bio-Technology) - Candidate should have cleared 10+2 or equivalent with Biology as one of the subjects in Science stream from state board or any board recognized by the university. The total marks will comprise of marks obtained in 10+2 and marks obtained in Biology subject. -
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) - Candidate should have cleared 10+2 or equivalent with commerce stream from state board or any board recognized by the university. Candidates with non-commerce background should have atleast 45% aggregrate marks. The total marks will comprise of marks obtained in 10+2, marks obtained in Accountancy subject and 15% of marks scored in Business Studies subject. -

The total marks will comprise of marks obtained in 10+2, 50% of marks for Malayalam as additional subject and marks scored for Malayalam or Journalism. -

Review of St. Xavier's College, Ranchi

I am the student of the 2015 - 2018 batch and I am still studying in the college and pursuing B.Com Accounts honours from here. The course name is actually older and it is actually B.Com honours and follows the same syllabus which is followed by the University of Delhi. The atmosphere is really good but being a minority college it is a bit difficult for the generals to get into the college politics and all. Attendance is a must. In each paper, in each semester, you have to get 75% attendance anyhow. So, this is all about St. Xavier's, Ranchi.

One of the very few colleges in Goa to offer so many courses in one institute.

(ALREADY SUBMITTED TWO REVIEWS) This college has given me the exposure to showcase my talents and taught me how to work in a team participating in various inter-college events and how to organise multiple events that are held in our college. Extracurricular activities like music and sports are highly encouraged here. It has a wide variety of experienced faculty who never fail to help students in need.

You get the best of both worlds here

From my experience, I do not have the best teachers. We follow the same syllabus, same books, same theories and lots more. But what I feel that what really educates a student is the ability of the teachers to teach beyond books. As a student, I often wanted to contribute to the college and bring up value and importance of the course. But, I fail to proceed in it due to the fact that politics is involved and that we have a weak management here. Besides that, at St. Xavier's College, Goa, we have a great campus and a friendly environment with lots of activities and competitions.

The best in bringing out our potential and personality

What was perceived came to be a reality. As a Xavierite, it has been an amazing experience to have enrolled in this college and I believe from what I've heard from the pass out batches is all true. This college offered everything, from infrastructure to good and qualified faculty and event participation to organising events of our own. The fact that I loved the most is that this college provides the same amount of importance to sports and cultural activities just as much to academics. From my participation in all these fields, I feel that it was a great personality and confidence booster and this college does the best in bringing out potential. I have learnt so much and feel that I have grown as a performer as well as a person. Although there would be a drawback that there is a lack of campus interviews that are conducted for the specialised courses of this college but other than that the college has outdone itself.
