Placement
The placements cell of the college is active in providing the best career opportunities for the student. Under the guidance of a dynamic placement officer, the cell not only arranges for campus placements but also trains the student so that they perform well. The department of English offers a short course in communicative English which is open to all student and which gives valuable training in skills such as Group Discussion, extempore speech and situational conversation.

The college has well maintained infrastructure with all the modern facilities .
Laboratory
The college has fully equipped computer , physics , Electronics , Chemistry , Micro-biology , Biotechnology , Botany , Zoology and phychology laboratories. The computer centre of STC is one of the oldest Computer centres in the Chhattisgarh region . Established in the year 1987, with only two PC's , the Computer Centre at STC now has 85 computers with almost all advanced level software as well as the Internet communication system.
Library
The Central Library of STC has got an invaluable collection of books in different subjects. The library subscribes to the standard national & international journals pertaining to the fields of science , mathematics , humanities, management studies , commerce & education , magazines and newspapers, and is headed by a Sr. Librarian assisted by other staff.The Central library has go a cyber corner where the students and staff can get free access to the internet.
