Placement
Placement is the ultimate goal, the desired destination and the fulfillment of the dream of the aspirant student, his or her parents, the faculty and the Management who make frantic endeavors in carving out and crafting the students’ career. Naturally, the value of placement in the life of an Engineer or technocrat is undeniable and of utmost significance.
Placement Cell of St.Andrews College of Engineering is active, conscious and vibrant. The team concerning Career Services headed by Mr. HitenderBeniwal, the reasoned and seasoned Placement Officer, lends full assistance to the students in their search for suitable placement. The Placement Cell remains wide awake and enthusiastically functions to empower students through motivation and grooming and shaping their personality. Keeping their urgency in mind special Seminars, Presentations and Group Discussions are arranged. The Seminars comprise of highly innovative, inspiring and invigorating lectures by the seasoned faculty of the college and by special invitees. HRD Managers, other Personnel Officers and Recruitment Officers are invited to the Campus.
For the campus placement, The institute follows the basic steps:
Pre-Placement Talk - Companies will come down to campus to conduct pre-placement talks. These talks give the students an idea about the recruiting organizations and opportunities available within these. It also gives students the chance to interact with employees of the company and learn more about the work culture. Based on these talks, students decide if they wish to apply to those organizations.
Resumes Submission - The willing students submit their resumes to the company after the presentation or to the Placement committee in case the companies wish to have them early prior to their arrival on campus.
Shortlisting of Candidates - Based on the resumes, their academic records etc. the companies will be required to prepare a shortlist of qualifying students and inform in advance to the Placement committee. Our Placement team will help you in preparing any type of data or report.
Campus Reqruitment - Prior to arrival on campus, the companies are requested to inform the Placement Committee about the recruitment procedure to be followed by them, like Group Discussions, Case Studies, Personal Interviews, written test etc. After the selection process, organizations are requested to announce the list of selected candidates on the campus itself with their appointment letters. Our Placement Team is glad to consider any other ideas to help its recruiter’s foster stronger relations.
