Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) shaping intellectual, practical and virtuous professionals for the nation. SMU University came into existence in 1995. It is the first government-private initiative in the region. SMU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) & accepted by the Govern- ment of India. The university provides global standard of education to the students from North and North Eastern parts of India. The University was commenced for imparting education in Health, Medical and Technological Sciences, which transforms an ordinary learner into an erudite professional. The vision of the SMU is to be a preferred choice of students, faculty and industry in every discipline undertake by the university. The objective of the University is to provide all the necessary amenities for research and renovate knowledge by adding latest apparatus & real cases in the academic curriculum.
