Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering and Technology is the first self-financing Engineering College in the state of Punjab. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, the Government of Punjab and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar. The College has been accredited by TCS for placements. In a survey of Technical Institutions conducted by the renewed magazine “DATAQUEST” SUSCET is ranked among the top 100 Technical Institutions in the Country.

College education, sports and infrastructure

The faculty can be better, only some of the members are good. The management should be more sincere towards sports. The college has a good infrastructure. It has big buildings for each department, separate hostels for boys and girls, two cafeterias, library, gym and playground. The college mess is satisfactory.

Staff is co-operative

The staff and lecturers in the college are so co-operative that you never feel awkward talking to them or ignored. The campus is quite well maintained and you can make a good bunch of friends while your study is in progress.

I am pursuing B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from 2015 and I have experienced that this college is very nice. Our faculty members are very friendly and hard worker. Students are being forced to focus on studies as well as on extracurricular activities. The campus is safe and covered with fencing. Classrooms are nice but hostel rooms are not so good. The college has near about 5000 students coming from different places in the various departments.
