A university for quality education

Sastra university, offers quality education. It also provides the students with a hostel and the food is tolerable. It also provides you with a good infrastructure with sports grounds and also an indoor stadium. Placements for the year 2016 were good but in 2017, it is still going on and we are expecting good companies too.

My college experience with School of Mechanical Engineering

It's great to be a part of Mechanical Engineering department of Sastra University with great career focus and infrastructure. Campus placement in Sastra university was really awesome and a lot of mechanical companies visit the college for placements. Hostel facilities are not that great. Tech fest and cultural fest are held in a grand manner. The teaching methodologies used by the faculty are great.

Nice atmosphere, Friendly Professor,

There are 12 hostels in campus, there are separate hostels for boys and girls. All other infrastructures are good and WiFi facility also available. Good food quality. . Classrooms are good modern amentities

Very good college which values merit more than money

I would recommend Sastra if you don't get into any of the old NIT's. It's better than most of the new NIT's. It's better than SRM or VIT. Only merit speaks in Sastra. The culture in the university is better than those posh colleges. Placements are good, though core placements are tough, you will surely get a job which itself is difficult outside the campus.
