School of Energy and Environment Management is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. This focus was also aimed at strengthening the cause of Energy Efficiency and mitigating Climate change Environmental degradation. An AICTE approved course in M.Tech EEM started in the year 2002 with an intake of 18 students. The focus areas for the department were identified as: Affordable Renewable Energy Technologies, State-of-the-Art Clean Coal Technologies, Zero Emission Technologies, Climate Change, Bio Fuels Bio Diesel, Bio Science in Waste Management, Green House Gas emission reduction and CO2 Capture Technologies.
