There is an acute shortage of skilled technical staff in industry today. This is in spite of a number of technical students obtaining their degrees and entering industry. This is because industry today is experiencing stiff competition from everywhere and they need Day One Job Ready employees. The bandwidth for training and then employing people is very thin today.
We at Satya have started “DAY FOR JOB” initiative where 2 Days in a week are exclusively given to students to have hands on experience on practical aspects of Engineering. This program prepares them to have the real feel of industry environment and understand the industry expectation. It helps them to show their talent from day 1 in the industry as by then they are familiar with operations and environment. Its a win-win situation for companies/industry also as they get productive resource from day one who don’t require much training.

Classroom Details
All the classrooms in the college are with modern infrastructure and are well lit and cross ventilated to ensure effective classroom teaching. Other facilities include - Projectors, Smart boards, etc.
Laboratory Details
Computing facility is established as a Central facility with latest computers @ 1 per 4 students with an area of about 2.5 Sqm per computer. The number of World class high end Branded computers DELL Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHZ are installed as per AICTE norms in the 1,350 Sqm. area of the center. Besides, printer computer terminals ratio 1:10 and adequate Online UPS and licensed software are provided. All terminals are on LAN/WAN and dedicated internet connectivity (bandwidth 1 MBPS , 24 x 7, 60 nodes).
Library Details
To support our goal, SCET has an excellent library in 460 sq. m area. The library has more than 25000 volumes in addition to National & International Technical Journals and Magazines. Students have access to Digital Library/e-library to nurture their research aptitude. Central library is fully computerized with internet facility to assist online research for staff and students.
Sports Details
6.5 Acre Sports Academy consisting of Cricket Stadium, 2 Lawn Tennis Courts, basket ball court, volley ball court, badminton court, Kabaddi court, football ground.
